Another option for families are the Chalets, with a capacity ranging from four to eight people. These private lodges bring a cozy and intimate feel with the convenience of ski-in/ski-out access as well as the nearby comfort to the services of the hotel a few steps away.
For a more affordable option, the Octagon Lodge rooms are a great alternative. Lodging up to four people in a room, these rooms have two bunk beds with a private bathroom. Only steps away from the hotel, guests staying here also enjoy all the facilities and activities of the hotel.
Unlike other resorts, meals at Portillo are included in guest’s lodging packages. Guests enjoy four meals a day daily, including the traditional Chilean tea time after the slopes close. You can choose between different options to dine, both in the hotel or on the mountain. Families with younger children get preference to an earlier dining time.

Boasting outdoor seating with views of Corralito and Las Lomas, this restaurant is a favorite for families with beginner and intermediate skiers. Sandwiches, drinks and snacks are available all day for a full lunch stop or a quick break.
Ski Portillo’s easy ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes takes any hassle out of skiing with the family. Guests simply have to walk or take the elevator to the lower level of the hotel, get their boots and skis from the ski check, walk out the door, click in, and glide to the lifts.
