From Portillo, you return to Santiago (a 2.5-hour drive) to take a direct domestic flight from Santiago (SCL) to Castro, Chiloé (MHC) or Puerto Montt (PMC), which takes under two hours. From the airport, a short scenic transfer brings you directly to Refugia Chiloé.
