Manuela Cappellini

Manuela Cappellini

Grew up just outside St. Moritz, Switzerland, with skiing as a core part of her life. Holds a Level 4 ski instructor qualification with international experience in Australia, Japan, Chile, and Switzerland. Since 2015, she has also been involved in community ski education projects in Kyrgyzstan.

“I love coaching at women’s camps because it’s about so much more than skiing. I love sharing experiences, learning from each other, pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones, and—most importantly—having fun without feeling like we always have to perform or prove ourselves.”

Nena Sepulveda

Nena Sepulveda

Originally from Chile, I have over 40 years of experience in the mountains. For decades, I have accompanied children, young people, and adults in their journey of learning to ski, combining technique, safety, and human connection. The mountain has been not only my work, but also a way of life.I have been a ski instructor at Hotel Portillo S.A. since 1986, with additional seasons in Andorra la Vella and Aspen, Colorado. My career has been deeply connected to Portillo, where I have built a long-standing professional journey in ski instruction. My educational background includes studies in Early Childhood Education at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, as well as a Master’s degree in Education. This background has allowed me to bring pedagogy and human experience together as an essential part of my approach to teaching on the mountain.I was a member of the Chilean Demo Ski Team, and have served as an Examiner and Pedagogy Trainer at ENISSCHAG (Chile’s National Ski Instructors School), contributing to the education and development of ski instructors.

“Skiing teaches confidence, discipline, balance, and connection with the mountain.”

Elizaveta Kasinova Ellie

Elizaveta Kasinova “Ellie”

Hello! I am Ellie and I am from Russia. I have been passionate about winter sports since I was a teenager, and the mountains have been a big part of my life ever since. I have more than 20 years of experience in skiing and snowboarding, including over 10 years as a professional instructor in Russia, Andorra, Italy, Chile and Japan.

For me, teaching is about much more than technique. I love helping people build confidence, overcome fears and enjoy the mountains in a safe, supportive and positive environment.

One of the things I value most about this work is meeting people from different cultures and creating connections that go beyond skiing or snowboarding.

“The mountains have given me some of the best experiences of my life, and I love sharing that feeling with others.”

Erin Overholt

“I love seeing a group of women come together and hype each other up and bond over a shared passion. Nothing is better than the support we receive from each other!”
