Safety on the slopes is managed by the Portillo ski patrol team. Led by experienced snow safety director Frank Coffey, this team ensures conditions on the mountain are safe for all guests. Overseeing snow conditions, control of avalanche terrain and skier safety, the ski patrol team is stationed at different spots throughout the ski area.
