The drive from Santiago to Portillo follows a scenic route through vineyards, fruit groves, the Rio Aconcagua, and the breathtaking Andes. The two-hour trip highlights the beauty of the Chilean Central Valley as well as the stunning mountains. Skier transportation can be arranged with a pick-up from Santiago airport or Santiago Hotels.
The Skier transportation service contemplates the route from Santiago to Portillo which has a total length of 102 miles on the international route that connects the Chilean capital with the Argentine city of Mendoza. Transportation is not included in the Portillo ski week or mini week rates, but it can be easily booked through the Portillo Tours and Travel agency, with pickup available from the Santiago Airport or from Santiago hotels. Private transportation is available every day at any time and the group shuttle is only available on ski-week or mini-week arrival days on the following schedule.
