The drive from Santiago to Portillo follows a scenic route through vineyards, fruit groves, the Rio Aconcagua, and the breathtaking Andes. The two-hour trip highlights the beauty of the Chilean Central Valley as well as the stunning mountains. Skier transportation can be arranged with a pick-up from Santiago airport or Santiago Hotels.
The journey to Portillo covers 164 km of unforgettable landscapes along the international route connecting Santiago with Mendoza. Although transfers are not included in the room rate, Portillo Tours & Travel offers an exclusive service to take you from the airport or your hotel directly to Hotel Portillo.
If you are looking for total freedom, our private service is available 24 hours a day. If you prefer efficiency, our shared shuttle is an excellent option, combining a comfortable journey with the safety and reliability that only our official operation can provide.

No. The shared shuttle operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays, departing from the airport to Hotel Portillo at 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. For the return journey from Hotel Portillo to the airport, the service departs at 2:00 pm.

The Shared Shuttle route runs between the Airport (SCL) and Hotel Portillo, with stops at the Hotel Plaza San Francisco, Hotel Ritz, and Hotel Bidasoa.

Yes. Our vehicles are equipped to safely transport your checked luggage and sports equipment, including skis or snowboards. If you are traveling with an exceptional amount of luggage or oversized equipment, we recommend informing us at the time of booking.

The hotel is located at 2,880 meters (9,450 feet) above sea level. We recommend staying well-hydrated and avoiding heavy meals before the ascent to prevent any discomfort related to the altitude.
