NASTC Camp

NASTC specializes in full-immersion, comprehensive ski training programs for strong intermediate to expert skiers. Since 1995, NASTC has brought groups every year to Portillo for a week of All Conditions/Terrain coaching by their top-notch staff including members of the PSIA National Alpine Team. You will make measurable improvements in your technique, tactics, and confidence in a safe, fun, and highly professional way led by the best instructors in the U.S.

Dates: August 08 -15, 2026

The Week Program includes:

RT ground from Santiago, 7 nights lodging, 4 meals/day, lift tickets.
7-day adventure skiing camp with NASTC’s top instructors in an intimate personalized coaching groups of 6 or fewer (total camp usually 20-25) led by Members of the PSIA Alpine Team
Technical talks in the afternoon with important themes of equipment, conditioning, sidecountry skiing options
Review of Custom Video
Group events (daily morning stretching session, 4 group meals/day, tech talks, video review, etc.)
Santiago Hotel/Touring options available before or after your ski week
Optional backcountry tours and heli-skiing upgrades.

Heli-skiing in the Andes

Heli-Skiing in Portillo is an unforgettable experience. Leaving your mark in fresh snow, in the middle of towering mountains, is a great panorama for advanced skiers.

Yoga classes

The perfect complement to an intense day of skiing is a yoga class in Portillo. You will be able to stretch and strengthen your muscles for a new day on the slopes.

Live music nightly in the Hotel Portillo bar

Portillo Pool Sunset Aprés-Ski

There is nothing that compares to the sunset views from the Portillo pool. Looking out over the lagoon and the mountains, it is the ideal way to end a great day of skiing.

Sol de Portillo race

Every Thursday you have the opportunity to test your skills in the Carrera del Sol ski race. All guests are invited to participate and to the awards ceremony in the afternoon.

Children's activities

Children have an incredible time at Ski Portillo. With activities designed for them by our Entertainment Team, they will be having fun all day with their new friends.

Snow-shoeing

Rent a pair of snowshoes to go for a walk through the wonderful landscapes of Ski Portillo. You can approach the Laguna del Inca and see the mountains from another perspective

Climbing Wall

Challenge yourself and test your techniques on our climbing wall. It is a good way to have fun and share with new and old friends.

Amazing experience! We stayed in the Octagon. It was perfect given there were just two of us. The snow was amazing (even with the mild winter). New snow making was fantastic. The customer service/hospitality is over the top. The view is incredible, food delicious, atmosphere is unmatched. I can't say enough about our experience. The workout room was sufficient. The yoga/stretch room is beautiful. The pool/hot tub nice atmosphere. Should be on every skier's bucket list. It's a special spot.

We booked a “mini-week” for us (2 adults & 2 kids) ... and it was really one of our great trips. The level of service in the hotel is just amazing ... everyone strives to serve you with a great smile. The amount of staff is really high for the hotel (a ratio almost 1-1 staff - passengers). The food is very well organised ... you have your table for all days ... and there is actually a lot of food .... you can get more than one plate if you can (but you really don’t need it !!) For the kids is great .... ski classes with great teachers !! ... and in sync with food times ! Room sizes are small, but you expect that in a mountain hotel .... We are definitely coming back next year !!

Awesome old-school hotel at 9800 feet in the Andes. Excellent meals, first rate service, comfortable room with a beautiful view. The skiing is fun too! The apres ski is legendary. Lots to do too, from Heli skiing to massages to swimming and hot tubbing.
